Home to Lake Michigan and The Milwaukee River that runs through the heart of our community. You can find a rushing waterfall that welcomes fishing enthusiasts from around the country.
The 120-Mile Oak Leaf Trail embraces The North Shore and Glendale offers a top trailhead. Enjoy biking, snow-shoeing, archery, sledding, fishing, canoeing, hiking, bird watching, cross-country skiing, golfing, dog walking, baseball, soccer, frisbee golf, volleyball, and more!

Kletzsch Park
Kletzsch Park, located in Glendale, Wisconsin, is a popular park that offers a range of outdoor activities and amenities. Home to famous fly fishing, the famous waterfall and a new and updated dam passage.
Kletzsch Park is located along the Milwaukee River providing a picturesque setting for visitors and residents alike. Enjoy amazing trails, a park, baseball fields, soccer fields, picnic and grill areas, archery, and a seasonal sledding hill and more.

Oak leaf Trail
The Oak Leaf Trail is a multi-use trail system that runs throughout the North Shore. With over 135 miles of trail for cycling, roller blading, walking, birding and running around Milwaukee County. Nearly a quarter of the trail hugs the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan. The trail system is mostly smooth asphalt, with dozens of easily accessed connections that take you just about anywhere in the Milwaukee metro area. The Milwaukee River Line connects many of our North Shore Communities.

Estabrook Park
On the east bank of the Milwaukee River, Estabrook park is an urban green space with a beer garden, sport courts, dog park, and a segment of the Oak Leaf Trail. Estabrook is home to an amazing disc golf course that has 18 short and technical holes, and from May to October you can finish your round at the Estabrook Beer Garden

Richard E. Maslowski Park
Located at 2200 W. Bender Road. It’s the center of activity during the summer months with an outdoor snack bar & beer garden. Concerts occur weekly at the outdoor amphitheater. Children play on all abilities lage playground. Families gather for socializing and picnics. R.E.M Park also has a community room and is home to MSOE state of the art baseball field

Schulz Aquatic Water Park
Located at 1301 W. Hampton Ave., Milwaukee. Open seasonally Join us and speed down the tube- and body-water slides, float along the lazy river, splash around the spray jets and bucket dump, swim or play water basketball in the leisure pool, and grab a poolside snack!

Brown Deer Park & Golf Course
PLAY THE NUMBER ONE PUBLIC GOLF COURSE IN MILWAUKEE COUNTY!
The golf course’s unique and individual holes are carved out masterfully with a stream running throughout the entire course.
