The band’s name came to Hinnefeld in a dream\, before their first gig\, reflecting the cosmic\, boundary-breaking sound they’d soon deliver. Later joined by Jake Evatt on keys/vocals and Justin Clark on drums\, the Bloomington-based quartet has since evolved into one of the country’s premiere touring acts. \nCritics have called Dizgo “one of the most operative names in the jam band scene” and “Indiana’s psychedelic powerhouse\,” blending the adventurous spirit of jamtronica with the deep-pocket pulse of funk\, the warmth of soul\, explosive guitar\, and the kaleidoscopic textures of psychedelic rock. Their live shows are immersive journeys – a dance party and mind-trip rolled into one. Interweaving soulful vocals\, analog synths\, and searing guitar complete with intricate compositions and extended improvisation. The result is something both danceable and introspective: a dance floor where heads and hearts move in equal measure. \nHot Like Mars are Chicago’s funkiest\, most soulful rock band – a jam-funk quintet built on airtight grooves\, fearless improvisation\, and songs that stay with you long after the house lights come up. Fronted by vocalist/keyboardist A.P. Our restaurant & lounge opens at 4:00pm with food\, cocktails\, and more. \nDuring a pit stop while traveling between shows in 2023\, Pinkshift found a huge fallen redwood tree. The three of them\, vocalist Ashrita Kumar (they/them)\, guitarist Paul Vallejo (he/him) and drummer Myron Houngbedji (he/him)\, lay down on the trunk\, staring up at the canopy of leaves from the trees around them. What followed is an experience Kumar describes as almost psychedelic. They felt as if the trees were inviting them to stay there forever. “I heard these voices telling me that I’m welcome here\,” they recall\, “and everything I could ever want is in this space.” \nAll guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and supervised at all times while inside the building. Failure to provide proper supervision may result in removal from the premises.
