DESCRIPTION:Swing Jazz Wednesday at The Argo — Troubadours of Rhythm brings vintage heat to the North Shore’s newest live music space. \n\n\n\n\nJoin us for Swing Jazz Wednesday at The Argo\, a new weekly tradition bringing live swing to Milwaukee’s North Shore — one band\, one night\, every Wednesday. \nMilwaukee’s finest early jazz\, pre-war blues and hokum musicianers. Troubadours of Rhythm is an ensemble led by Milwaukee legend Jon Mroz\, dedicated to reviving the electrifying\, micro-niche sound of late 1920s South Side Chicago. Drawing on the raw energy of rent parties\, cabarets\, and 35th Street nightlife\, the band delivers music that is at once deeply rooted and vividly alive—danceable\, virtuosic\, and bursting with personality. With tight ensemble interplay\, hot solos\, and a wink of hokum humor. \nSwing Jazz Wednesdays are casual\, welcoming\, and all about the music. Come as you are\, grab a seat and listen\, or dance the night away. Join us for free swing dance lessons starting at 6:00 PM! Whether you’re a total beginner or just want to brush up your moves\, this is the perfect chance to get into the rhythm before the show. Come early\, learn something new\, and hit the dance floor with confidence! \nDoors at 6:00pm. Music at 7:00pm. Full bar service will be available throughout the event\, with the kitchen being open 4-close. \nAll guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and supervised at all times while inside the building.
