Run the Bay on May 2, then finish up at Klode Park with a visit to the Eco Fair. You can also swing by Dominican High School for Recycle Day to give your unwanted items a new lease on life.
It’s all part of the Whitefish Bay Civic Foundation’s Bay Day.
Run the Bay features a 5K run/walk (8:30 a.m.) and a Kids Races (9:30 a.m.)
The Green Day Eco Fair from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Klode Park will feature information and displays on sustainable living. Participants include the Whitefish Bay Garden Club, the Middle School, MMSD, and other environmental organizations. Bay Bridge, in collaboration with Kids Impact Community, will be collecting new and gently used children’s shoes for Jacarrie Kicks for Kids at
its table.
Recycle Day in the Bay will be held at Dominican High School from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
